Keep Iowa’s Teachers in Iowa

A bonus alone will not solve that, which is why this measure also invests in mentoring, shared staffing, and professional development—especially where rural schools have the fewest options. I also support streamlining certification for qualified professionals, provided we maintain clear standards for student safety and instructional quality.
