Governor Brent S. Rosbottom, a lifelong Montanan and proud rancher from Deer Lodge, has dedicated his life to defending the values that make Montana strong — faith, family, and freedom. Born on April 1, 1973, and educated at the University of Montana with a degree in Agricultural Sciences, Rosbottom built his career from the ground up as the owner of Rosbottom Dude Ranch and Rosbottom Dairy, LLC. His commitment to honest work and rural communities led him into public service as Mayor of Deer Lodge, followed by sixteen years in the Montana State Senate before being elected Governor in March 2025. A member of the Freedom Caucus, Governor Rosbottom has championed energy independence, pro-life legislation, and the reduction of government overreach, working to unleash Montana’s full economic potential. Known for his plainspoken style and unwavering convictions, he has made it his mission to ensure that the people who work the land have a government that works for them. He lives in Deer Lodge with his wife, Tunlaya Kawrungruang Rosbottom — a former Miss Thailand — and their four children.
