Predict attendance, income, and buzz from your songs, skills, and local market.

What a gig does
A gig costs 30 Energy, accepts one to three owned songs, produces attendance and cash, and adds 5 buzz to every selected song. It also reduces local entertainment demand by 0.1, so repeatedly working the same market can weaken the next result.
Bring three strong songs
The game sums the selected song qualities and always divides by three. That means an empty set-list slot counts like a zero-quality song. One excellent song cannot produce the same average as three equally excellent songs.
What controls the payout
Attendance responds to your performance-oriented skill mix, set quality, local entertainment demand, and county population. Income then scales attendance through average song quality and Financial Acumen.
Mechanics
How results are calculated
These rules come from the game calculation. Live market values and event-specific settings can still change the final result where noted.
Attendance
Rule
Skill factor × average song quality × entertainment demand × county population multiplier, then random variation from -90 to +100.
- Skill factor: 35% Performance, 25% Charisma, 20% Networking, and 20% Communication.
- Average song quality is total selected quality divided by 3 even when only one or two songs are selected.
- Attendance cannot be negative. Raw attendance above 20,000 is treated as sold out.
Worked example
With Charisma 60, Performance 70, Networking 50, and Communication 60, the skill factor is 61.5. Three quality-80 songs in a neutral market produce 4,920 base attendance, or 4,830–5,020 after randomness.
Gig income
Rule
Attendance × (average quality ÷ 20) × 10 × (Financial Acumen ÷ 100).
- Income is rounded to the nearest whole dollar.
- Financial Acumen directly scales the payout after attendance is known.
- All chosen songs gain 5 buzz whether or not the venue sells out.
Worked example
In the attendance example, Financial Acumen 60 makes the payout equal to attendance × 24: about $115,920–$120,480.
