Biography
Jace Ryder is the frontman of Riot Saints, a gritty, hard-edged rock band that broke out of the Pacific Northwest with their explosive debut in late 2024. Born and raised in Seattle’s working-class outskirts, Jace is known for his raw vocals, rebellious energy, and refusal to play by anyone’s rules. By December 2025, Jace has become a recognizable figure in underground rock circles—not for chasing fame, but for living and performing with relentless authenticity.
The past year has been a whirlwind. After releasing Riot Saints’ debut album in November 2024, Jace and the band launched their first tour across Washington, Oregon, and Northern California, hitting dive bars, indie venues, and any stage gritty enough to fit their sound. The tour was loud, messy, and unforgettable—exactly how Jace wanted it. Tracks like “Rust and Bone,” “Filthy Saints,” and “Cheap Beer & Fast Cars” became underground anthems for the disillusioned and the defiant. Though they never chased radio play, the album found a devoted following online and in live shows, growing into a cult favorite.
Now 27, Jace hasn’t changed much. He still writes his lyrics on wrinkled notebook pages, records demos in cluttered basements, and shows up to gigs in a worn-out leather jacket patched with cigarette burns and band pins. He doesn’t care for press, avoids industry bullshit, and keeps his circle tight—mostly his bandmates and a few longtime friends. Offstage, he’s quieter than people expect. He spends his downtime reading dog-eared Bukowski books, working on unfinished riffs, and sitting alone in late-night diners with black coffee and cheap cigarettes.
Jace's music remains fiercely personal. He writes about broken families, lost friends, rage, addiction, and the moments between collapse and recovery. He still plays like he’s got something to prove, and maybe he does—though he'd never admit it. Despite growing attention from small labels and indie press, Jace insists on doing things the Riot Saints way: no compromise, no filter, no fake polish. Whether the world’s watching or not, he’s going to keep playing loud, living hard, and screaming his truth from the back of every dive bar stage he can find.
