Biography
Christian Andrews grew up in Tampa, Florida, raised by a single mother who worked tirelessly to give him opportunities she never had. Money was often tight, and those early struggles shaped his perspective on life. From a young age, Andrews understood that football might be his path to building a better future—not just for himself, but for the woman who sacrificed everything to raise him.
His high school football journey began at Chamberlain High School, where he played his first two seasons before transferring to Sickles High School for his junior and senior years. The move proved to be a turning point. At Sickles, Andrews developed into one of the most talented quarterbacks in the Tampa area, showing impressive arm strength, composure under pressure, and the kind of field vision that made coaches trust him to run the entire offense.
Off the field, Andrews has always been known as a humble and respectful young man. Teammates and coaches describe him as soft-spoken, grounded, and deeply loyal to his family and friends.
But on the field, he becomes someone else entirely.
Once the helmet goes on, Andrews transforms into an aggressive and ultra-confident field general. He reads defenses with authority and carries a swagger that sometimes borders on arrogance. The difference between his personalities is simple: Christian Andrews knows he’s good—and more often than not, his play proves it.
After graduating from Sickles, Andrews accepted a scholarship to play quarterback at the University of South Florida, allowing him to stay in Tampa close to his mother. Over the past two seasons, the 20-year-old quarterback has steadily developed into one of the most intriguing young prospects in football. His arm talent, confidence, and ability to dissect defenses have begun drawing attention beyond the college level.
Now Andrews finds himself at a crossroads.
Rather than following the traditional route toward the NFL draft, he is reportedly considering declaring eligibility for the Dominion Football League (DFL), a young league preparing for national expansion. While the NFL remains the biggest stage in football, Andrews has expressed interest in the opportunity to help build something new from the ground up.
For someone raised fighting for every opportunity, the chance to help shape the future of a league—and secure a life-changing contract—could be too good to pass up.
Whether he ultimately chooses the NFL or the DFL, one thing is certain: Christian Andrews is a quarterback who believes in his talent, understands what he’s playing for, and isn’t afraid to bet on himself.
