A Level 2 stadium will be financed by the state for the Washington Senators, in Fairfax County, in exchange for average ticket prices being capped at $150/ticket for the next two seasons. The stadium will be in the Lorton area of Fairfax County. The area around the new stadium will be part of a Metro extension and be part of a transit-oriented development project.
