Border Security and Visa Enforcement Coordination Act

A bill to strengthen immigration control as a matter of national security and the rule of law by authorizing increased hiring of U.S. Border Patrol agents, Customs and Border Protection officers, and immigration enforcement personnel; expanding the use of surveillance technology and modern screening infrastructure at high-traffic border sectors and ports of entry; improving real-time information sharing among the Department of Homeland Security, Department of Justice, and Department of State for visa overstay identification and enforcement; and requiring regular congressional reporting on border apprehensions, visa compliance, and operational readiness to ensure accountable implementation.
