Where the Voting Rights Act was born. Where the fight for democracy has always been fought. And now, the other side wants to undo it all. The SAVE Act. Voter ID laws. The same playbook, a new generation. I signed the John Lewis Voting Rights Act. I restored the protections that were gutted in 2013. I made it easier to vote, not harder. But the other side wants to undo it all. **Second: Black voter power.** Black voters in Georgia have changed the course of history. You showed up in 2020. You showed up in 2022. You showed up in 2024. And you will show up again. But you deserve more than just a thank you. You deserve action. I have fought for criminal justice reform. I have invested in Black communities — in education, in housing, in healthcare, in small businesses. I have forgiven student debt for Black borrowers targeted by predatory lenders. But the other side wants to undo it all. **Third: The cost of living.** You feel it every week. The squeeze. Your rent goes up. Your grocery bill climbs. Your paycheck stays the same. I capped rent increases. I raised the minimum wage. I lowered prescription drug costs. But the other side wants to undo it all. **Fourth: The future.** Atlanta is the New South. Growing, thriving, leading the way. Clean energy jobs. Tech jobs. Innovation. The future is being built right here. And I will make sure that future includes everyone. **To the Black women in this room:** You are the backbone of this party. I will fight for you. **To the suburban women:** You are the deciders. I will protect your rights. **To the young people:** You are the future. I will fight for you. **To everyone in this room:** Vote like Georgia depends on it — because it does.
