Asset Marketplace & Sponsorships
Distinguish asset transfers from sponsorship opportunities and check who controls each agreement.

Asset marketplace
The marketplace is for transferring existing business assets rather than creating new productive capacity. Review the asset, controlling company, asking terms, and confirmation screen before committing; ownership and company-role checks govern who can act.
Sponsorship opportunities
Sponsorships are typed opportunities with their own target, recipient, acquisition rule, schedule, and cancellation rule. Some can activate immediately and others require approval. Payment schedules can be one-time, daily, weekly, or use specified dates.
Read the lifecycle, not just the headline value
An agreement can have effects when it activates, completes, is cancelled, or defaults. Before accepting, identify who pays, who receives, when transfers occur, and whether cancellation is unavailable, unilateral, or requires mutual consent.

How results are calculated
These rules come from the game calculation. Live market values and event-specific settings can still change the final result where noted.

Rule
Eligibility + acquisition mode + payment schedule + cancellation mode + lifecycle effects determine the agreement.
- Acquisition can be instant or approval-required.
- Cancellation can be prohibited, available to either party, or require mutual consent.
- The opportunity’s live terms are authoritative; there is no single universal sponsorship payout formula.
