The Denver Summit said Scott Harwood will become head coach and Allen Cross defensive coordinator, completing another major coaching change for the expansion DFL franchise.

The Denver Summit dismissed defensive coordinator Brock Tullis, adding to a fast-moving round of staff changes that also included another firing and a new hire.

The Denver Summit used the No. 1 pick in the DFL Draft on Colorado State quarterback Evander Holt, a Larimer County native the expansion team called its foundation for an inaugural season.

The DFL is adding the Denver Summit to its National Conference, according to a team announcement. Founder and CEO Lila Grant said she will own the franchise, a first for a Black woman in league history.
