Stark Industries, in partnership with the University of Houston, the Greater Houston Partnership, CenterPoint Energy, and the Port of Houston Authority, will host the inaugural Houston Energy & Infrastructure Innovation Summit at the George R. Brown Convention Center on Saturday, November 21.

The free public event will bring together engineers, students, energy professionals, manufacturers, entrepreneurs, educators, and civic leaders to explore practical solutions for strengthening Texas energy infrastructure and preparing the next generation of innovators.

Throughout the day, attendees will experience interactive demonstrations in power systems, industrial automation, advanced manufacturing, logistics, and renewable-energy technologies. University teams and startup companies will compete in the Texas Infrastructure Challenge, presenting projects focused on grid reliability, port efficiency, flood resilience, and industrial innovation.

Stark Industries will award one $30,000 Infrastructure Innovation Grant, five $5,000 University Research Awards, and ten $2,000 Skilled Trades Scholarships for students pursuing careers in engineering, energy, and advanced manufacturing. Winning teams will receive six months of mentorship from Stark Industries engineers and industry partners, with selected projects showcased during the Greater Houston Partnership's annual innovation forum.

The summit will also feature career networking, STEM exhibits for families, local technology showcases, and opportunities for small manufacturers and energy startups to connect with investors and strategic partners.
