ASH Atlanta Growth & Opportunity Initiative
Published
Andrews Strategic Holdings will launch the ASH Atlanta Growth & Opportunity Initiative on Saturday, September 12, 2026, in Atlanta, Georgia, expanding ASH’s community investment strategy in one of its established Southeastern markets.
ASH will commit $1.5 million in direct funding, workforce development, and entrepreneurial support to Atlanta-area businesses and residents.
The initiative will be led locally by ASH portfolio companies Southeast Infrastructure Holdings II, Andrews Infrastructure Development Group, and Southeast Business Data Exchange, connecting ASH’s existing Atlanta operations with the community they serve.
$750,000 will establish the ASH Atlanta Business Growth Fund, supporting 25 locally owned businesses with $30,000 each. Recipients will be selected through published criteria emphasizing business viability, responsible growth plans, potential job creation, and measurable local economic impact.
$500,000 will establish the ASH Atlanta Workforce Accelerator, supporting career training, professional certifications, and pathways into growing industries including technology, infrastructure, construction, energy, finance, and business services. ASH will invite established Atlanta workforce and higher-education organizations to participate, with partners publicly confirmed before program delivery.
The remaining $250,000 will establish an Atlanta Emerging Entrepreneurs Fund, supporting young and early-stage entrepreneurs through grants, mentorship, and direct access to ASH business specialists.
Applications will be free. Funding recipients will be selected before the public program, allowing the event to focus on announcing recipients, connecting them with resources, and beginning implementation rather than operating as a generic expo.
ASH will publish an initial public report detailing recipients, funds committed, workforce participants, and program activity, followed by progress reporting on business growth, employment, certifications, and other measurable outcomes.
Atlanta isn’t a market ASH intends to enter someday. We’re already here. This initiative is about making our presence matter.
Why It Landed This Way
A strong, credible Atlanta initiative with meaningful funding, clear allocation, locally relevant sectors, and measurable reporting. Preselecting recipients makes the event more substantive than a typical expo. Public attention should be solid locally, though the impact will depend on transparent selection criteria, credible local partners, and follow-through on outcome reporting.
What Players Should Expect
This event gives the business its strongest bump during the first 24 hours, followed by a smaller lingering boost for the next few days.
