Stark Industries, in partnership with UT Southwestern Medical Center, Parkland Health, Texas Health Resources, and the Dallas Regional Chamber, will host the Dallas Health Innovation & Community Wellness Challenge at the Meyerson Symphony Center on Saturday, December 5.

The free event will bring together healthcare professionals, engineers, entrepreneurs, university students, nonprofit organizations, and community leaders to develop practical solutions that improve access to healthcare, preventive medicine, and community wellness across North Texas.

Throughout the day, interdisciplinary teams will compete to design innovative technologies and community programs focused on chronic disease prevention, mental health access, senior care, emergency response, and digital health services. Physicians, engineers, business leaders, and university faculty will mentor participants before judging final presentations.

Stark Industries will award one $25,000 Community Health Innovation Grant, four $7,500 Healthcare Partnership Awards, and ten $2,000 scholarships for students pursuing careers in healthcare, engineering, and technology. The winning project will be piloted with a participating community organization over the following year, with progress presented publicly at next year's Dallas Health Innovation Summit.

The event will also feature free community health screenings, STEM exhibits, medical technology demonstrations, student research showcases, and career exploration opportunities for families throughout North Texas.
