Nevada Cost-of-Living Fiscal Transparency and Relief Act

This bill requires the Nevada Department of Taxation and affected state agencies to publish a plain-language fiscal-impact statement before any major state tax or fee increase, including estimated effects on households, small businesses, and inflation-sensitive costs. It also directs the Governor’s Office of Finance to identify recurring, nonessential administrative expenditures for reduction or reallocation, with verified savings deposited into a Cost-of-Living Relief Account to fund one-time rebates for eligible Nevada households, subject to legislative appropriation and annual public reporting.
