Nebraska Small Business Cost Relief Act

This bill would reduce or waive selected state licensing, inspection, and registration fees for qualifying Nebraska businesses that are locally owned and employ no more than 50 workers, subject to annual eligibility certification. It would direct state agencies to consolidate renewal notices, provide a single online compliance checklist, and permit coordinated renewal dates where practicable, while preserving public-health, safety, and consumer-protection requirements. The measure is intended to reduce inflation-driven operating costs and administrative burdens without creating new regulatory exemptions.
