Delaware Workforce Housing and Streamlined Development Act

This Act establishes a Delaware Workforce Housing Initiative to support mixed-income residential developments near major employment centers and transit corridors. It directs the relevant state agencies to create a coordinated, time-limited review process for eligible projects that reserve a portion of units for households within specified income ranges, while preserving local zoning authority, public notice, environmental review, and affordability requirements. The Act may provide technical assistance and prioritize existing infrastructure for qualifying developments, subject to funding authorized by the General Assembly.
