Arizona Border Security Cooperation and County Support Act

The State of Arizona shall require state and local law enforcement agencies, consistent with federal and constitutional law, to cooperate with lawful federal border enforcement activities, including information sharing and transfer coordination for individuals charged with immigration-related criminal offenses; increase criminal penalties for organized human smuggling and related repeat offenses under Arizona law; and establish a dedicated border county assistance fund to support sheriffs, prosecutors, emergency medical services, detention capacity, road repair, and other direct public safety and infrastructure costs incurred by counties affected by unlawful migrant traffic, subject to annual legislative appropriation and reporting requirements.
