Arizona Border Cooperation and Taxpayer Protection Act

The State of Arizona shall require state agencies, counties, municipalities, and law enforcement departments, consistent with federal law and constitutional protections, to cooperate with federal immigration authorities in the identification and transfer of individuals unlawfully present in the United States who are charged with or convicted of a criminal offense, shall prohibit any policy that materially restricts such lawful cooperation, and shall limit state-funded public benefits for persons not lawfully present to emergency medical care, K-12 education where otherwise required by law, and other services mandated under federal or constitutional law, with agency rules to provide for verification procedures, reporting standards, and implementation guidance.
