Arizona Border Cooperation and Taxpayer Protection Act
Summary
The bill requires Arizona state and local agencies to cooperate with federal immigration authorities when people unlawfully present are charged with or convicted of crimes, bans policies that block that cooperation, and restricts state-funded public benefits for undocumented immigrants to emergency care, required K-12 education, and other legally mandated services.
