The Working Families Cost Relief and Supply Chain Security Act

To reduce inflation pressure on American households, this bill would expand and extend targeted federal tax incentives for domestic manufacturing of essential consumer and industrial goods, require stronger Buy American and supply-chain resilience standards in federal procurement for critical products, and direct federal agencies to investigate and respond to unjustified price spikes in essential goods through enhanced market monitoring, anti-price-gouging enforcement where authorized by law, and recommendations to Congress on further cost-of-living relief measures.
