Telehealth Access and Prescription Savings Act

To expand affordable healthcare access, this bill directs Medicare and federally funded health programs to permanently cover clinically appropriate telehealth services, including mental health and chronic disease management, with support for rural clinics and community health centers to upgrade secure digital care systems; requires transparent electronic prescription pricing tools so patients and providers can compare lower-cost generic and therapeutic alternatives at the point of care; and authorizes the Department of Health and Human Services to encourage interstate telehealth compacts, strengthen patient privacy standards, and reduce unnecessary administrative barriers that raise costs for families.
