State Firearms Regulatory Autonomy Act

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, that no federal department or agency may condition the receipt of otherwise authorized federal funds on a State’s enactment, repeal, or modification of a law regulating the manufacture, sale, possession, ownership, or use of firearms or ammunition, except where such condition is expressly authorized by a law enacted after the date of this Act. Nothing in this Act shall be construed to limit federal authority over matters within the Constitution or to restrict a State from adopting or enforcing firearm regulations of its own choosing.
