Secure Borders and Timely Asylum Processing Act

A bill to strengthen federal border enforcement by providing targeted resources for personnel, surveillance, and anti-smuggling investigations; increase federal penalties for knowingly transporting or facilitating the unlawful entry of migrants for financial gain; and fund additional immigration judges, asylum officers, interpreters, and case-management capacity to ensure asylum claims are screened promptly, fairly, and in accordance with U.S. law.
