To strengthen the federal response to violent gang activity and fentanyl trafficking, this bill authorizes increased Department of Justice grant funding for state, local, and federal anti-gang and narcotics task forces; expands resources for witness protection and relocation assistance in prosecutions tied to organized criminal networks; and directs the Attorney General to improve intelligence-sharing, joint operations, and case coordination among local law enforcement, U.S. Attorneys, and federal agencies, with priority given to high-trafficking corridors and communities facing persistent gang-related crime.
