Rural Input Cost Relief and Supply Resilience Act

To reduce inflationary pressure in rural communities, this bill directs the Department of Agriculture and Department of Transportation to expand domestic fertilizer production capacity, improve rail and highway freight access for farm inputs and harvested commodities, and prioritize grants and loans for storage, processing, and distribution infrastructure in underserved agricultural regions; temporarily streamlines duplicative federal permitting for fertilizer, fuel, and farm supply projects consistent with environmental law; requires a review and suspension of unnecessary regulatory fees that materially increase food, fuel, and input costs; and mandates quarterly reporting to Congress on price impacts, supply chain performance, and benefits to producers and consumers.
