Rural and Tribal Health Access Stabilization Act

To improve access to healthcare in rural and tribal communities, this bill increases and stabilizes funding for the Indian Health Service, authorizes grants to expand broadband-enabled telehealth capacity and remote care equipment for tribal clinics and rural health providers, and creates targeted loan repayment and scholarship incentives for doctors, nurses, mental health professionals, and other essential providers who commit to serving in medically underserved rural and tribal areas; the bill also directs the Department of Health and Human Services to streamline coordination with Tribal governments and states to reduce service gaps and strengthen long-term care access.
