Repeat Violent Offender and Fentanyl Trafficking Reduction Grant Act

To establish a Department of Justice competitive grant program for states, localities, and multijurisdictional task forces to improve coordination against repeat violent offenders and fentanyl trafficking through intelligence-led policing, prosecutor coordination, overdose-linked trafficking investigations, and officer analytic training; to require grant recipients to adopt basic data-sharing standards for arrests, warrants, overdose incidents, and trafficking patterns consistent with federal privacy and civil liberties protections; and to condition continued funding on annual public reporting of crime trends, case outcomes, use of funds, and measurable progress in reducing violent crime and fentanyl distribution in the communities served.
