A bill to reduce inflation pressures in Alaska and other remote states by creating a temporary, targeted federal tax credit for small businesses facing elevated freight and fuel costs, directing federal agencies to streamline and expedite waivers and compliance for domestic shipping and rural fuel distribution where safety is maintained, and establishing a limited grant program to improve cold storage, port, and last-mile supply infrastructure in high-cost communities, with regular reporting to Congress to ensure the relief remains focused, accountable, and tied to measurable consumer cost reductions.
