This Act would require the Department of Homeland Security to submit standardized quarterly reports to Congress on immigration detention, removal operations, and border-logistics spending, including costs, capacity, processing times, contract performance, and significant delays. The Comptroller General shall conduct periodic performance audits of these programs and identify waste, duplication, and opportunities for improved coordination, while protecting personally identifiable information and ongoing law-enforcement operations. The Secretary of Homeland Security shall provide a corrective-action plan for material deficiencies identified in any report or audit.
