This Act directs the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Justice to establish clear processing timelines, publish regular case-volume and backlog reports, and provide applicants with accessible status information for immigration proceedings, consistent with due process and applicable law. It further requires agencies to prioritize available detention and removal resources for noncitizens convicted of violent offenses and repeat unlawful entrants, while preserving access to counsel, asylum screening, and judicial review.
