Community Recovery and Fentanyl Prevention Act

This bill would expand competitive federal grants to states, counties, tribes, and local public-health agencies to increase access to evidence-based addiction treatment, peer recovery services, overdose-reversal medication, and fentanyl test-strip distribution, with priority for rural and underserved communities. It would support partnerships among treatment providers, schools, first responders, and law enforcement; require clear reporting on treatment access and outcomes; and direct federal agencies to provide public education on counterfeit pills and fentanyl risks while protecting patient privacy and encouraging people to seek help.
