Border Security and State Partnership Act

To strengthen public safety and uphold the rule of law, this bill appropriates additional funding to the Department of Homeland Security for targeted border surveillance, anti-trafficking operations, and the hiring of immigration enforcement personnel; authorizes expanded cooperative agreements with state and local law enforcement for the identification, detention, and transfer of individuals unlawfully present who are charged with serious crimes or trafficking-related offenses; increases grant support for state-led task forces addressing cartel activity and human smuggling; and requires quarterly public reporting to Congress on enforcement outcomes, trafficking interdictions, and the use of funds to ensure accountability and effective federal-state coordination.
