A bill to strengthen immigration enforcement by increasing criminal penalties for repeat unlawful entry after prior removal, authorizing targeted resources for detention capacity and immigration court case processing, and expanding voluntary cooperation between federal immigration authorities and state and local law enforcement through formal information-sharing and detainer compliance agreements, while requiring annual reporting to Congress on enforcement outcomes, labor-market effects, and civil-rights compliance.
