To improve public safety, uphold federal immigration law, and protect American workers, this bill increases funding for border surveillance technology, immigration court capacity, and visa overstay enforcement; requires regular federal reporting on visa compliance and border encounters; and establishes a competitive grant program for state and local law enforcement agencies that voluntarily cooperate with federal immigration authorities in identifying criminal offenders, dismantling trafficking networks, and targeting unlawful employment practices, with all activities conducted consistent with constitutional protections and existing civil rights law.
