Full text

To reduce inflationary pressure on American families by lowering the cost of essential goods and key industrial inputs, the Senate shall consider legislation creating temporary, targeted federal tax incentives for domestic production of medicines, food-processing materials, energy components, steel, semiconductors, fertilizer, and other critical inputs, with enhanced eligibility for firms that expand manufacturing capacity, source from U.S. suppliers, and hire American workers; the bill shall also require regular reporting on consumer price impacts, domestic supply growth, and job creation to ensure the incentives strengthen Indiana-made and American-made supply chains, improve resilience, and deliver measurable cost relief without creating unnecessary new bureaucracy.
