Affordable Housing Resilience and Preservation Act

To amend the Internal Revenue Code and the Cranston-Gonzalez National Affordable Housing Act to expand and better target federal incentives for the construction, rehabilitation, and preservation of affordable housing in high-cost and climate-vulnerable states; to provide competitive grants for workforce housing, Native Hawaiian housing organizations, and homelessness-prevention programs; to support resilience upgrades for at-risk affordable properties facing sea-level rise, wildfire, flooding, or severe storms; and to require the Department of Housing and Urban Development to prioritize projects that increase long-term affordability, prevent displacement, and serve extremely low-income households, seniors, and working families.
