Affordable Housing and Community Stability Act

This bill would expand federal grants through the Department of Housing and Urban Development for the construction and preservation of affordable rental housing, prioritizing working families, high-cost areas, and communities experiencing displacement. It would also fund tenant legal assistance, prohibit the use of federal housing funds for source-of-income discrimination, and provide targeted support for local programs that prevent eviction and help residents remain in their communities.
