Atlanta Fire Unveil New Identity as Franchise Enters New Era
ATLANTA, Ga. — The Atlanta Fire today officially unveiled the club's new primary logo, marking the next chapter in the organization's history as the franchise continues its inaugural season in Atlanta.
The new mark features a bold flame rising through a stylized "A," symbolizing ambition, resilience, and the energy of a city that has long been defined by reinvention. The shield design reflects the strength and unity of the organization, while the team's black and orange color palette represents intensity, determination, and the relentless pursuit of excellence.
"This logo represents more than a new look," said owner Jason Patel. "It represents our commitment to Atlanta, our players, and our fans. We're building something that will last for generations. While our roots will always remain in Roanoke, today begins a new chapter, and we're proud to write it together with the city of Atlanta."
The franchise relocated to Atlanta prior to the 2026 season following five successful years as the Roanoke Railhawks, one of the DFL's original clubs. Since arriving in Georgia, the Fire have experienced tremendous enthusiasm from local supporters, with every home game selling out and Mercedes-Benz Stadium providing an electric atmosphere.
Although the club has opened the season 0-2, the organization remains focused on the long-term vision of building a championship contender.
"Championship organizations aren't built overnight," Patel added. "Our players, coaches, and staff are working every day to establish the culture we want this franchise to be known for. We believe our best football is still ahead of us."
The Atlanta Fire return to action tomorrow afternoon as they travel to face the Tampa Bay Storm. The organization looks forward to seeing fans proudly wear the new crest as the Fire continue their first season representing Atlanta.
