The Atlanta Fire have unveiled a new primary logo as the DFL franchise continues its inaugural season in Atlanta following its relocation from Roanoke.
The club said the new mark depicts a flame rising through a stylized letter “A,” set within a shield design. The team described the imagery as representing ambition, resilience and the energy of Atlanta, while its black-and-orange palette is intended to convey intensity and determination.
“This logo represents more than a new look,” owner Jason Patel said in the team’s announcement. “It represents our commitment to Atlanta, our players, and our fans.”
The Fire relocated to Georgia before the 2026 season after five years as the Roanoke Railhawks, an original DFL club. Patel said the organization’s roots in Roanoke would remain part of its history while Atlanta becomes the focus of its next phase.
The announcement arrives early in the team’s first campaign in its new market. Atlanta has opened the season 0-2, though the organization said it remains focused on a longer-term effort to develop a championship-caliber club.
The Fire also said every home game to date has sold out at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, describing the response from local supporters as strong. The release did not provide attendance figures or details on merchandise plans connected to the redesigned crest.
Patel characterized the logo launch as part of a broader organizational effort rather than a response to the club’s early results.
“Championship organizations aren’t built overnight,” Patel said. “Our players, coaches, and staff are working every day to establish the culture we want this franchise to be known for.”
The new identity places the Fire’s Atlanta branding at the center of a season that follows the franchise’s departure from Roanoke. Team officials said fans will begin seeing the crest as the club continues its first year representing the city.
Atlanta is scheduled to return to the field tomorrow afternoon on the road against the Tampa Bay Storm.
