Savannah, GA - White Star Chemical Company CEO and Founder Samuel W. Mallory announced today the opening of the company’s chemical production facility in Savannah, Georgia. Located in an industrial area, it is the company’s first Savannah-based facility and the first production facility founded by the company.

“We are very excited to begin work and get production going as soon as possible,” Mallory said in a statement. “Savannah is a great city to live and do business. The folks here have always been super supportive and helpful. Great workers all around. We’re ready to do our part.”

Mallory, a lifelong Georgian and a native of Savannah for over a decade, is no newcomer to the business scene. He has served in numerous businesses across the state in various sectors before founding White Star Chemical recently after seeing a need he believed he could fill.

“I love Savannah. This is my home, and I’m incredibly grateful for all the opportunity it has given me,” he said in his statement.

The facility will begin producing surfactants and specialty formulations for commercial and industrial usage, such as in detergents or in agricultural products. It will, however, be able to pivot as necessary to production of other chemical types as market demand shifts. The facility will begin work immediately after a quick but thorough and safety-minded construction phase.
