OXFORD, MISSISSIPPI — North Mississippi singer-songwriter Madison Hillman has released her new single, “Yazoo Queen,” a Delta blues-rock track that pushes her sound deeper into the raw, electric edge of Mississippi music.

Driven by a bottleneck slide guitar, drums, and Hillman’s smoky alto, Yazoo Queen channels the atmosphere of the Mississippi Delta into something both mythic and immediate.
