San Antonio Coyotes open letter to Governor Acton

· Tony Bellanova

SAN ANTONIO, Texas — San Antonio Coyotes owner Tony Bellanova today released the following open letter to Texas Governor David Acton, calling for discussions on a public-private partnership to develop a modern stadium capable of supporting the DFL's continued growth in Texas.

An Open Letter to Governor David Acton

Governor Acton,

The San Antonio Coyotes came to Texas because we believe this state is the future of football. As the DFL continues its rapid national expansion, several franchises have already begun investing in larger, modern stadiums to meet growing demand and strengthen their local economies.

I believe San Antonio deserves the same opportunity.

Bellanova Hospitality Group is prepared to invest significantly in the long-term success of the Coyotes. I also believe there is room for a responsible public-private partnership that benefits taxpayers while creating a venue capable of hosting professional football, concerts, community events, and other year-round attractions.

I am not asking for a blank check. I am asking for a conversation.

I respectfully invite you, your administration, members of the Texas Legislature, and local leaders to discuss how we can build a stadium that becomes a long-term asset for San Antonio and the State of Texas.

I chose Texas because I believe in its future. I hope we can build that future together.

Respectfully,

Tony Bellanova
Owner, San Antonio Coyotes
