Reggie Vaughn left Atlanta Fire Stadium with two DFL career records, passing the previous marks in career passing yards and total yards on a day that nevertheless ended with San Antonio one point short. The Fire’s second scoring drive ended in a field goal that created the 10-3 cushion. San Antonio responded with field goals on each of its last two scoring possessions, but Atlanta’s defense denied the Coyotes the touchdown that would have changed the result.
