DFL Commissioner Kyle Fitzgerald has selected St. Louis as the host city for the Season 6 DFL Championship, placing the league’s season-ending game at The Dome at America’s Center on Sunday, September 13, at 7:00 PM ET.

The neutral-site championship is set to conclude the DFL’s largest season to date, following an expansion to 12 teams and the introduction of a 14-game regular season across the Commonwealth and National Conferences.

Fitzgerald’s decision gives the DFL a major venue for a championship event designed to bring together fans from across the country rather than center the title game in the home market of a competing club. The Dome at America’s Center will make its full football capacity of approximately 67,000 seats available for the game.

The commissioner’s office described St. Louis as an outstanding football city and said the Dome provides a championship-caliber setting in a neutral market. Fitzgerald said the league was bringing its championship to St. Louis for the first time as it seeks to give its players, owners and fans an event fitting the scale of Season 6.

The selection represents a clear organizational step for a league that has broadened its footprint during the current season. A neutral championship site can offer a more unified national stage, with supporters of both postseason teams able to travel to the same destination for the league’s marquee contest.

The DFL has scheduled the game as the final event of a season built around its expanded structure. The championship will feature the winners of the DFL postseason competing for the Season 6 title.

The participating teams will be determined after the conclusion of the regular season on September 6 and the ensuing playoff round. Until then, Fitzgerald’s announcement establishes the setting for the league’s decisive game while allowing the postseason to determine which clubs will take the field in St. Louis.

For Fitzgerald, the St. Louis selection puts the league’s biggest event in a venue capable of accommodating a substantial championship crowd. The commissioner’s office said the move is intended to match the scale of the DFL’s expanded season with a major neutral-stage finale.
