National Responsibility Monitor opened its new San Antonio office with a free public event led by Donna Lowenthal, introducing attendees to the organization’s five-level Responsibility Risk Scale through a reception, office tour and voting exercise.

The event, titled NRM San Antonio Opening: Would You Sign Your Name to It, was structured as an evening program open to the public. Guests were invited to enter the new office, meet staff, tour public areas and take part in a reception featuring refreshments from local vendors.

A central feature of the opening was the distribution of voting cards or digital ballots explaining National Responsibility Monitor’s Responsibility Risk Scale. The five-level framework was presented to attendees as part of the organization’s San Antonio launch.

The format placed public participation alongside a conventional office-opening reception. Rather than limiting the gathering to introductions and refreshments, the program gave attendees a direct role in engaging with the scale through cards or digital ballots.

For National Responsibility Monitor, the event marked the start of operations from its San Antonio location and created an initial public forum around the organization’s responsibility-risk framework. The office tour also gave visitors access to public-facing areas of the new site and an opportunity to meet staff.
