Lyrics

March 18, 2026

Call me a diamond, I came from pressure, had to learn how to pray
Lost in the dark with a dead flashlight, I was searching for a way
Mama said “trust God” but all I saw was the bad days
Now I only know how to walk by faith, my flashlight shows how the world fades

I done seen the wrong road, I ain’t go that route
Had to cut ties, had to change my crowd
They was chasing the clout, I was crying out loud
Now I can stand real bold, I ain’t backing down

[Hook]
I been walking by faith, I don’t need no sight
God with me every step, yeah He changed my life
I was lost in the dark, now I shine that light
I shine that light... he's that light....

[Verse 2]
Yeah I got a new mindset, new goals
Had to let the past go, that’s growth
They still don’t understand , what I stand for,
But I’m ten toes down, that's for sure

Every scar got a story, every win got grace
I ain’t perfect but I’m running this race
If I fall I get back, I don’t stay in place
God working in me, yeah He making a way

[Hook]
I been walking by faith, I don’t need no sight
God with me every step, yeah He changed my life
I was lost in the dark, now I shine that light
Now I shine that light, yeah He is that light
