What it is

Reputation is an account-level community counter shown on your profile and in player listings. It is separate from character skills, money, Energy, political affinity, campaign points, and Audience Score.

How it changes

You gain 1 reputation when another player reacts to an eligible Space post or engages with an eligible player social-media reply. Removing that reaction or engagement removes 1 reputation, and the total cannot fall below zero.

What it affects today

Reputation currently records community engagement and supports public player ranking. The guides do not verify a direct mechanical bonus to elections, music, business revenue, or character actions. Treat it as recognition rather than a resource to spend.

Keep the distinction clear

A character may have several in-world careers, but reputation belongs to the player account. Engagement with posts is not the same system as audience, campaign points, or a character’s voter-group affinity.
