Understand how many characters your account can use and what happens when a paid slot ends.

How many characters you can have
Every account begins with one character slot. Active paid character-slot subscriptions add one slot each, up to five total slots. Character Management shows the characters on your account; Billing manages the paid slots.
Using another slot
Purchase or reactivate an available slot from Billing, then create the additional character through Character Management. Each character keeps separate career, Energy, cash, and story state.
Before you cancel
If a paid slot is canceled or payment ultimately fails, the character occupying that slot is retired into a GM-controlled NPC. Treat that as a permanent story decision unless the GM team later approves help with an exceptional account issue.
Need account help?
Use Support for a billing or slot problem that the Billing screen cannot resolve. Do not post payment details in public channels.
