White Star Chemical will send staff from its Fayette County office to Fayette County High School for a weekday career morning for science and career-technical students.

The on-campus visit is not a plant tour. Students will hear how a Georgia chemical manufacturer hires for industrial sales, logistics, quality, laboratory work, and safety roles, along with the coursework and habits that can help prepare them for those paths. Counselors will also receive dates for White Star’s manufacturing morning at its Savannah plant for students interested in seeing an operating site later.

The program will be held in a media center or lecture room, with a short walk to the cafeteria or courtyard if the school prefers. White Star employees from the Fayette office will lead the talks. A Savannah plant supervisor is expected to join by video or in person to discuss floor-level jobs.

Light refreshments—coffee, water, juice, fruit, and breakfast pastries—will be available before first period or during a scheduled block, depending on the school schedule.

Remarks will be brief. Principal staff at Fayette County High have been asked to welcome the group, and the district’s career-technical director has been invited to speak for the schools. Samuel Mallory, owner of White Star Chemical, is expected to introduce the company before turning the hour over to employees who do the work they are describing. A Fayette office manager will close with information on job-shadowing and internship questions.
