State Legislature Bills

The bill creates a competitive state grant program for bridges, municipal water systems, and industrial access roads, prioritizing safety, manufacturing, supply chains, and job creation. Municipal matching contributions, transparent criteria, and annual public reports are required.

The bill requires municipalities to adopt predictable workforce-housing rules, including review deadlines and by-right approval for compliant projects. It also offers competitive infrastructure grants to towns that approve qualifying housing while protecting essential services.

The Affordable Housing Funding and Job Growth Initiative proposes an additional $10 million in state funding to support affordable housing projects, aiming to stimulate job growth and enhance community stability through collaboration among local governments, non-profits, and private developers.
