This bill requires landlords, utility providers, telecommunications companies, and other essential consumer service providers operating in Nevada to clearly disclose all mandatory fees, surcharges, and recurring charges in advertised and billed prices, prohibits deceptive hidden fees not plainly disclosed before agreement or service activation, directs the Attorney General and appropriate state regulatory agencies to enforce compliance through civil penalties and consumer restitution, and requires the Governor’s Office of Economic Development, in coordination with the Department of Taxation and Public Utilities Commission of Nevada, to publish quarterly public reports identifying major state inflation pressures in housing, energy, groceries, insurance, and transportation, with recommendations for administrative or legislative cost-relief action.
